WHAT IS ARISE ASIA //

It started off with a question. We asked ourselves, “What would it be like if we can see God ignite the hearts of this younger generation throughout Asia to bring the Gospel where there is no Gospel witness in Asia and beyond?”

It is almost two millennia since Jesus called His first disciples to follow Him. Since that time, many followers of Jesus have taken up the call to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Now, in the 21st century, the need for the Gospel to be shared and lived out in Asia is tremendous, and God is setting the hearts of people in Asia on fire for His glory and purpose. The time has come for Asia to arise and participate in God’s Great Commission.

We invite you to join us in this historic movement with thousands of young people from Asia who want to live for the purposes of God in this generation!

From 1,844 delegates across 37 countries in 2023, the movement has expanded rapidly throughout the Philippines, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and beyond.

As of today:

• 10,250 Game Changers mobilized

• 1,555 mission commitments pledged

• 27 events hosted

• 10 countries and 27 cities reached

Over 15% of participants have boldly committed to long-term, cross-cultural missions. These commitments represent a powerful legacy of hope and transformation for next-gen, turning the Mission Fields into Mission Force.

ARISE ASIA MOVEMENT //

One Life. One Challenge. To challenge the next generation to go where there is no gospel.

Launched in 2023, Arise Asia is a growing missions movement mobilizing the next generation across Asia and beyond to take the gospel to places where it has never been heard.

Every three years, Arise hosts three key events to inspire and equip young people: (1) Global Gathering – for vision, inspiration, and challenge, (2) National Gatherings – in various countries for localized mobilization, and (3) Leadership Summit – to train and prepare future leaders for mission.

Following the inaugural Global Gathering in July 2023, Arise Asia will return to Bangkok, Thailand in 2026 for ARISE ASIA 2026, aiming to gather 5,000 young people, another mission-filled and life-changing encounter. The mission is clear: to raise a new generation of missionaries committed to sharing the gospel and planting churches in unreached areas.

🌏 Arise Missions Internship

Arise Internship offers a unique cross-cultural missions experience that equips young people to live out their calling among the nations. Through hands-on service, immersive learning, and deep spiritual formation, interns grow in leadership, teamwork, and cultural understanding.

This year, our very first team includes five interns from Pakistan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. They have been sent to Northeastern Thailand for a one-year placement. Their ministry involves language learning, student outreach, community engagement, and discipleship. As they live and serve in a new cultural context, they are embracing both challenges and spiritual growth.

Arise Leadership Summit 2025 – Locally Rooted, Globally Connected!

The inaugural Arise Leadership Summit 2025, held in Jakarta, Indonesia, brought together nearly 300 leaders from over 20 Asian nations— Gen Z, mission organizations, church pastors, national coordinators, and global movement leaders— for four powerful days of vision-sharing, collaboration, and commissioning.

This historic summit was more than a gathering, it was a catalytic moment. Through plenary sessions, panels, workshops, testimonies, and times of prayer and worship, participants sought God together and discerned next steps toward a shared vision: to see Gen Z arise and go where there is no gospel.

One of the most powerful aspects of the summit was the intentional inclusion of Gen Z leaders—not just as attendees, but as co-creators of the future. In a moving moment, younger leaders laid hands and prayed for their pastors, and in return, were prayed over and commissioned. This generational exchange symbolized the heart of the summit: unity across ages, cultures, and callings for the sake of the gospel.

Why does this summit matter?

This summit marked the formation of a core leadership team across Asia. These leaders are now committed to mobilizing the next generation to take bold steps of faith into unreached places. The Asian Church is not only rising— it’s taking ownership of the mission in transformative ways.. turning Asia from a mission field to a mission force.
